I bought this a really long time ago.
Fortesa Latifi - Boys Will Be Boys (And Why That Is The Stupidest Thing You Could Ever Say To A Little Girl)
I got really lost last year.
But I can’t be lonely tho.
Cause we’re all here.
We’re all stuck here.
I wanted to make something that says, no matter how bad you fucked up, or mistakes you’ve made during the year, your life, your eternity.
You’re always allowed to be better.
You’re always allowed to grow up.
If you want.
The Fermi Paradox asks - if there’s endless possibilities in the universe for intelligent life to emerge everywhere, where is it? Why don’t we have evidence of any other form of intelligent beings?
But what if we only expand outwards in our technological adolescence? It’s a primitive mindset – we’re going to grow, conquer, we’re going to take over this new land, this new people, this moon, this planet – it’s young and barbaric.
But as civilizations become more intelligent - more mature - we start to explore inward instead of out. We spend more of our mind effort in virtual spaces. And we’re creating sentient minds that live in computers so deep that we eventually create black hole like conditions. That eventually are so powerful that we can actually go in them and disappear out of the visible universe. And slingshot to the end of time. Where there will exist every other technologically advanced civilization.
We can’t see intelligent life because they’re so advanced that they’ve literally escaped this visible universe in computational black holes.
